7/2/2020 - UPDATED: Our COVID-19 Response

The Independent Insurance Agents of Rhode Island and staff are keenly aware of the public health concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are implementing several safety precautions for our employees and members to reduce the spread of the virus.

Effective Immediately

All CE classes/programs are suspended throughout August 2020
We will endeavor to reschedule all programs. Members may also request a credit or refund. Stay tuned for updates on alternative education options. We'll be hosting webinars and other virtual events.
All face-to-face meetings will transition to teleconference
Any scheduled meetings will take place as scheduled however by conference call. If you have a meeting already on the calendar, you will receive call-in instructions in advance of the meeting.
Staff will be accessible and available electronically and by phone at 401-732-2400.
We are discouraging employees to work at the office. With our internet-based phone system, if you leave a voicemail with any employee, they will receive it. Likewise, all emails will be responded to as they normally are as employees have email access from home.
Staff will continue to be readily accessible and available to assist members for normal business inquiries and assistance - electronically. Each employee has access to emails and voicemails.
This practice will continue for at least 2-4 weeks depending on the spread of the virus. Thank you for your understanding and we hope everyone stays safe during this national public health crisis.
